Ippudo was founded in 1985 in Japan's ramen capital of Hakata, Fukuoka. Today, there’s over 220 Ippudo outlets all around the world.

Our founder, Shigemi Kawahara, sees the restaurant as a stage where each employee plays a role like an actor. From cooking to serving, every move is perfectly choreographed.

Kawahara holds a place in the Ramen Hall of Fame after winning TV CHAMPION’S Ramen Chef 3 times consecutively, and is also internationally renowned as the Ramen King.

Soup

IPPUDO's secret recipe that has been refined over the years, made from rigorously selected ingredients and more than 15 hours to extract the essence of our Tonkotsu.

Noodle

IPPUDO's noodles are the 'works of a craftsman'. These noodles are boiled to al dente, offering a springy texture with deep flavors of wheat with each bite.

Kaeshi

Made from selected quality Kyushu Shoyu as a base and through constant refining and ingredients of the finest quality. Together, this makes the combination from IPPUDO's best tasting Tonkotsu broth.

Chashu

Gradually and slowly simmered in our original shoyu marinade, IPPUDO's melt-in- your-mouth Chachu guarantees the ultimate tasting pleasure.
